  3. Amazing how after collecting comics for over thirty years I can still be stopped cold..."I've never heard of that before!". I have some Marvel Illustrated editions (Daredevil, Spidey), but this is a new one!

  5. apparently Norem was pretty busy with Marvel-themed paintings---Conan magazine covers and misc.

    His website is cool, but I couldn't get on the MARVEL link there.

  6. I picked this up as a kid at the book store in Kennebunkport. A very cool collection.

    One thing that was striking was that the black and white reprints often only printed half an original page at a time, so there are a couple of panels that are cut off until you turn the page and see the rest of the image (mostly in the first chapter, reprinting Vision's first appearance, which ended with the famous Shelley quote as pertaining to Ultron.
